Die Ergebnisse im Vergleich zur manuellen Thoraxkompression sind bisher uneinheitlich. In einer weiteren in diesem Monat erschienen Studie aus dem Deutschen Reanimationsregister wurde der Effekt der Anwendung von mechanischen Thoraxkompressionssystemen an Hand von Daten aus der Anwendungsrealit\u00e4t der Registerteilnehmer untersucht. Basierend auf 19.609 Patienten konnten die Autoren zeigen, dass bei Verwendung von mechanischen Thoraxkompressionssystemen signifikant h\u00e4ufiger eine R\u00fcckkehr des Spontankreislaufs (ROSC) erreicht werden konnte (F\u00e4lle mit laufender Reanimation wurden ausgeschlossen). Dieses Ergebnis zeigte sich auch nach Adjustierung f\u00fcr Risikofaktoren und insbesondere die Dauer der Reanimation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Diese Studie zeigt, dass die Anwendung von mechanischen Thoraxkompressionssystemen im Rettungs- und Notarztdienst mindestens keine nachteiligen Auswirkungen auf das kurzfristige \u00dcberleben hat. Daher sollten diese Systeme insbesondere f\u00fcr besondere Indikationen (z.B. Transport unter laufender Reanimation) vorgehalten und eingesetzt werden.
