Postural modification to the standard Valsalva manoeuvre\u00a0for emergency treatment of supraventricular tachycardias\u00a0(REVERT): a randomised controlled trial. <strong>Lancet<\/strong> 2015; 386: 1747\u201353<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Appelboam et al.<\/strong> untersuchten\u00a0in ihrer randomisierten und kontrollierten Studie\u00a0aus England 428 Patienten mit einer SVT\u00a0 (cave: Vorhofflimemrn und -flattern war ausgeschlossen). Die Patienten wurde 1:1 in zwei Gruppen randomisierte:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Gruppe 1:<\/strong> modifiziertes Valsalva-Man\u00f6ver [Druckaufbau 40 mmHg, 15 sec. und nachfolgend R\u00fcckenlagerung und passives Anheben der Beine (&#8222;passive leg raise&#8220;)] (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=8DIRiOA_OsA\" target=\"_blank\">Video<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gruppe 2:<\/strong> herk\u00f6mmliches Valsalva-Man\u00f6ver (Druckaufbau 40 mmHg, 15 sec. )<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Die Ergebnisse sind &#8222;umwerfend&#8220;:<\/strong> 93\/214 (43%) der Patienten aus Gruppe 1 zeigten eine Konversion im Vergleich zu nur 37\/214 (17%) der Patienten aus Gruppe 2: adjustierte Odds Ratio: 3,7 (95% CI 2,3\u20135,8; p&lt;0,0001).
