Resuscitation 2017; 115: 173-177<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Studenten, die an einem BLS-Kurs teilnahmen, wurden in zwei Gruppen aufgeteilt. Die eine Gruppe erhielt die \u00fcbliche Ausbildung mit Verbringung des Patienten in stabile Seitenlage und Atemkontrolle. Die zweite Gruppe hatte den Patienten auf dem R\u00fccken belassen und f\u00fchrte das HTCL-Man\u00f6ver durch. Gemessen wurde in beiden Gruppen die Zeit von Eintreten eines Atemstillstandes bis zu dessen Detektion durch die BLS-geschulten Anwender. 14\/27 (52%) der ersten Gruppe und 23\/28 (82%, p&lt;0,01) in der zweiten Gruppen erkannten das Eintreten des Atemstillstandes binnen 2 Minuten.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die Autoren der Studie schlussfolgerten, dass die stabile Seitenlage die Detektion eines Atemstillstandes beeintr\u00e4chtigt und damit auch die Behandlung eines Atem- und ggf. eines Kreislaufstillstandes verz\u00f6gert.
