Fortschreitend in der medizinischen Versorgungskette kommen diese kritisch kranke Patienten aller Altersstufen in Notaufnahmen zur Vorstellung. An der Nahtstelle zwischen pr\u00e4hospitaler und innerklinischer Notfallversorgung besteht dann die Notwendigkeit ohne Zeitverlust und auf hohem notfall- bzw. intensivmedizinischen Niveau die Behandlung weiterzuf\u00fchren. Dem Management im Schockraum kommt dadurch eine Schl\u00fcsselrolle in der transsektorellen Patientenversorgung zu. F\u00fcr eine suffiziente Behandlung kritisch kranker nicht-traumatologischer Patienten im Schockraum sind daher strukturelle, organisatorische, apparative und personelle Ressourcen notwendig und ein ad\u00e4quate Versorgungskonzepte essentiell.
