Large-Vessel Stroke as a Presenting Feature of Covid-19 in the Young.<br \/>\nN Engl J Med 2020; DOI: 10.1056\/NEJMc2009787<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die f\u00fcnf Patienten waren zwischen 33 und 49 Jahre alt. Zwei der Patienten hatten keine kardiovaskul\u00e4ren Risikofaktoren in der Anamnese und drei der Patienten keine typischen Symptome einer Infektion mit dem SARS-CoV-2. Pathophysiologisch kann man sich leicht vorstellen, dass die h\u00e4ufig beobachtete Hyperkoaguabilit\u00e4t bei COVID-19 hierf\u00fcr urs\u00e4chlich sein k\u00f6nnte.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Fazit f\u00fcr die Praxis:\u00a0<\/strong>Bei Schlaganfallpatienten, auch ohne typische COVID-19-Symptomatik, sollte die COVID-Diagnostik gro\u00dfz\u00fcgig durchgef\u00fchrt werden.
