  • Die Coronavirus-disease-2019(CO- VID19)-Epidemie stellt die Fachbereiche Notfallmedizin, An\u00e4sthesiologie und Intensivmedizin vor erhebliche Herausforderungen.<\/li>\n
  • Die Erkrankung verl\u00e4uft in der Mehrzahl der F\u00e4lle mild, aber ca. 5 % entwickeln ein schweres \u201eacute respiratory distress syndrome\u201c (ARDS).<\/li>\n
  • Es m\u00fcssen Strukturen geschaffen werden, um m\u00f6glichst viele leicht Betroffene ambulant zu versorgen.<\/li>\n
  • Der Erregernachweis erfolgt mithilfe der Polymerase-Kettenreaktion (PCR), bei kritisch Kranken bevorzugt aus dem unteren Respirationstrakt.<\/li>\n
  • Eine Noninvasive-ventilation (NIV)- Therapie oder gar die Verabreichung von High-flow-Sauerstoff ist kritisch zu bewerten, da erhebliche Infektionsgefahren f\u00fcr das Personal damit verbunden sind.<\/li>\n
  • Sollte NIV dennoch eingesetzt werden, muss bei Versagen fr\u00fchzeitig intubiert werden.<\/li>\n
  • Im Gegensatz zu anderen schweren Infektionserkrankungen verschlechtert sich der Zustand des COVID-19- Patienten h\u00e4ufig erst verz\u00f6gert im Krankheitsverlauf.<\/li>\n
  • Die Vermeidung nosokomialer Infektionen, insbesondere durch konsequente Anwendung der Schutzausr\u00fcstung, ist essenziell.<\/li>\n
  • Neben der eigentlichen Krankenversorgung k\u00f6nnen Personalausf\u00e4lle und Ressourcenmangel zu erheblichen St\u00f6rungen der Betriebsabl\u00e4ufe f\u00fchren.<\/li>\n
  • Strukturen, die eine Versorgung anderer akuter Krankheitsbilder, wie z. B.
